What We Do - Our Programs and Activities

Events at Friendship Fellowship at Pineda are organized under the auspices of one or more of our various committees in charge of our different Programs and Activities. At this time a partial list of the Programs and Activities appears in the main menu on the left-hand side of this page. Here is a brief description of some of the activities that are going on now at FFP:

We meet Sunday at 10:30 AM for an inspirational fellowship service and hear an intellectually stimulating speaker to engage our thought and enhance our awareness of and sensitivity to moral and social concerns. After service we gather to interact and enjoy refreshments.

Before the service, from 9:15 to 10:15 you are invited to attend a Sunday Morning discussion of current events held in the Coffee House, the building closest to Route 1.

Your children can participate in Youth Religious education instruction with a focus on love, acceptance, fairness, and concern for one another and the environment.

There are Adult Religious education offerings to enhance our knowledge and expand our awareness.

Various other film series, religious discussions, book discussions, seminars, and forums (or combination of the four) are presented throughout the year. Please check the Calendar for the most current information.

We publish a newsletter, the Friendship Flyer, in which we report past and future program information and share members' thoughts.

We have a Women's Friendship Circle that meets the first Thursday of the month, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM in the Coffee House, it also sponsors informal lunches, day trips, and fund raising events. For more information call Barbara Kurtz, 634-1967 or Sue Holland., 632-2845.

We have periodic Circle Suppers in small groups to become better acquainted. Call Kitty Linton,504-7217 or Sue Holland, 632-2845 if you are interested in joining.

A Social Action Committee works to exert a beneficial influence on our larger community. (See Calendar for dates)
